CEU Conference Llano County Texas, December 2, 2008
The Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Llano County, will sponsor a
CEU Conference on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at the American Legion Hall
in Llano. This program will be for individuals who possess a valid
private applicators license, a commercial applicators license, or a
non-commercial applicators license, and would like continuing education
units (CEUs) to help with fulfilling their recertification
requirements. Speakers will be Billy Kniffen, Extension Program
Specialist - Water Resource Management with the Texas AgriLife Extension
Service, discussing “Rainwater Harvesting”; W.L. Stribling, Texas
Department of Licensing & Regulations, will discuss “Water Wells - Laws
and Regulations and Proper Construction to Prevent Contamination”; Dr.
Jim Gallagher, Assistant Wildlife Specialist with Texas AgriLife
Extension Service will discuss “Predator and Pest Control”; Wade Hibler,
Burnet County Extension Agent will discuss “Fertilizer Additives”; and a
Texas Department of Agriculture representative will discuss “Laws &
Regulations” of pesticide use. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and
the program will begin at 9:00 a.m. Five (5) CEUs will be offered: 3
General, 1 Laws and Regulations, and 1 Integrated Pest Management. The
cost of this program will be $20.00 per participant, which includes the
registration fee, refreshments, and lunch.

soon as possible to pre-register for this conference. The registration
fee may be paid at the time of the conference. Please contact the
