Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review for Monday
So far for Monday, trading was slow on very light demand in the Texas Panhandle, Nebraska and Iowa-Minnesota. Trading in Kansas and Colorado was inactive. Not enough trading activity to establish an adequate market trend in any major feeding region. Last week, in the Texas Panhandle, live sales sold at 82.00. In Kansas live sales sold at 81.50 and dressed sales at 128.50. For the prior week, in Nebraska, dressed sales ranged from 125.00-136.00 and live sales sold from 80.00-81.00. In Colorado live sales sold at 81.00 and dressed sales sold at 127.00. For the previous week, in Iowa-Minnesota, live sales sold at 79.00 and dressed sales ranged from 124.00-136.00.
